Russian competing in UFC Charabutdin Magomedov known as Shara Bullet, in an interview with , revealed details of the filming process of the movie, in which he participated this summer.
After winning a tournament in Saudi Arabia against Antonio Trocoli on June 22, Sharabutdin Magomedov went to the United States, where he took part in the filming of the movie. As the middleweight himself said, he was offered the role of an assassin.
— How was your stay in America? You played in films…
— The day after the fight in Saudi Arabia, I already flew to America. This is also work, it didn’t give me any emotions or anything like that. I signed a contract that had to be fulfilled. Initially, there was an agreement for 3-4 days of shooting, but it lasted more than a week. It was an interesting shoot; I didn’t even have to get used to the role, because the director told me to be myself. That’s why they called me, I fit this role exactly as I am. True, the role of a not very good person was a killer.
“Were you told to be yourself and stay a killer?
– Yes, yes, exactly. The director said that I could become a good actor capable of competing for serious roles in the future.
— It is unlikely that you speak pure English, or was the character chosen in such a way that you were laconic in this film?
– Yes, I was a man of few words. For example, there was a call, they simply told me the name of the person who had to be killed, and I answered “ok” and there I went to kill. My character was a bit fantastical. I was an iguana man.
– No spoilers, but how many people did you kill during those days of filming?
“Two,” Magomedov told .
On August 3, in Abu Dhabi, the 30-year-old athlete will meet with the representative of Poland, Michal Alekseichuk.
