An American boxer caught doping decided to hold an exhibition fight.
It looks like Ryan Garcia won’t be bored for long because of his doping suspension. The American boxer announced that he will hold an exhibition fight against the legendary Filipino veteran Manny Pacquiao.
According to Garcia, it is possible that the fight will take place at the end of the year;
“I was in Japan to set up a date for the fight with Manny Pacquiao. Yes, I will fight him. This is the first time I’m announcing this fight. Yes, it will be an exhibition. I will fight Manny Pacquiao, guys , let’s do it.
This battle will happen soon. I am trying to determine the date. It will probably happen by the end of the year. So I’m trying to be more focused, stop drinking and stop doing a lot of things that I was doing,” the American was quoted as saying by Boxing News.
We remind you that Ryan Garcia’s disqualification period was announced for a positive doping test on the eve of his fight with Devin Haney.
