The world lightweight champion believes that the British boxer can avenge his first fight loss.
Shakur Stevenson believes in Tyson Fury’s ability to get revenge on Alexander Usik in the second boxing fight in Saudi Arabia.
Moreover, the WBC lightweight champion believed that the Briton had won the first fight, that’s why the judges decided to give the victory to the Ukrainian.
“The next fight will be different – Fury will win the first fight too… I don’t know how Fury is, but I think he’s tired. Usik immediately took advantage of the opportunity to appear, kicked him and took control of the match.
The match may be in favor of one or the other. If the judges had given the victory to Fury, then, I think, we would never have had any anger. If they gave a draw, we, too, would probably lose our teeth. I believe the battle is exactly what it is. If Fury knows he can do what he did at the start of the fight, I imagine he’ll try to do the same thing in the next fight, just do it longer,” Stevenson told Boxing News.
We remind you that the Usyk-Fury rematch is scheduled for December 21 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.
Earlier, Fury’s promoter made a prediction for a rematch with Usik.
