If Anthony Joshua has what Oleksandr Usyk has, he could end his professional career. This was announced by Eddie Hearn, the promoter of the former world heavyweight champion.
According to the functionary, his ward first plans to defeat IBF title holder Daniel Dubois, as Usik has already done, and then defeat the winner of the rematch between Alexander Usik and Tyson Fury twice. After that, the Briton is ready to leave the pro ring.
“Joshua is in the best shape of his life, he loves boxing and is having so much fun, so we have to continue in the same spirit.
Personally, I’d like to see Anthony beat Daniel Dubois and then fight the Usyk-Fury winner twice. To imagine that he won all these times and finally announced his retirement is mind-boggling,” said Hearn as quoted by Boxing News 24.
We remind you that the Usyk-Fury rematch is scheduled for December 21 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.
