Manager of the AMC Fight Nights League Kamil Gadjiev noted that the Russian Umar Nurmagomedov won a landslide victory over the American Corey Sandhagen at the UFC tournament.
The Russian met Sandhagen in the main event of the UFC Abu Dhabi (UAE) tournament. The bantamweight fight lasted all five rounds and ended with Nurmagomedov winning by unanimous decision.
“To create problems for Umar, he must offer something more than what Sandhagen offered. It should be an opponent with violent blows or someone who constantly attacks so that Nurmagomedov gets tired. At first glance, the American showed a competitive fight. Sandhagen was certainly not close to winning.
“Sandhagen always starts well, but then gradually disappears. I think Umar did not particularly try to finish him off, but every round showed who had taken him,” Gadzhiev said on the air of the program “Everyone for the match!” on the channel.
