The legendary former American boxer chose his compatriot Evander Holyfield.

Evander Holyfield is so good in the ring that he could dominate any boxing era. This is what the legendary American ex-world champion George Foreman said.

He also remembered his fight with his countryman, and how hard he fought back then.

“Evander’s a great boxer. He’ll wait for you to open up and throw combinations. Evander hit me 25, 30 times in our fight, and when he didn’t do anything to me, he threw an elbow to look like. I’m sick.” It wasn’t even a punch, it was rough, but this is boxing, he knew that even if I wasn’t hurt, it would convince the judges.

I hit him very well a few times. But he knows how to defend himself. I hit him hard but he always answered me. I have never seen a boy with such determination except Muhammad Ali. I think Holyfield could have dominated anyone in any era, the guy was very good,” said Foreman of SecondsOut Boxing News.

Let’s remember that earlier Holyfield admitted that he will have a hard time against Usyk.
