Boxers have a chance to meet for the third time in the ring
Heavyweight management company Derek Chisora (33-12, 23 KOs) 258 MGT Confirms Talks Over Potential Fight With WBC World Champion Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs).
“Team Tyson did contact us about a possible fight towards the end of the year.”
“We have previously discussed, and will soon hold additional negotiations. It will be a massive battle if we can organize it,” said 258 MGT spokesman David Gansa.
Earlier it was reported that the boxers agree to hold the next face-to-face confrontation in December 2022. The initiator was the representatives of Fury.
Chisora and Fury met twice in the ring, in 2011 and 2014. Tyson won both times.
In the last fight, Chisora defeated Kubrat Pulev and won the vacant WBA International belt. The title of a full-fledged WBA champion belongs to Oleksandr Usyk.
Tyson announced his retirement from professional football after a convincing victory over Dillian Whyte in April. At the same time, the Briton has not yet vacated the WBC championship belt.
Fury has previously stated that he wants to hold exhibition fights and plans to meet with Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Frank Bruno, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
