Ekaterina Bivol, ex-wife of WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitri Bivol on social media, spoke out against the organization of a boxing fight with a compatriot Artur Beterbiev .
In June 2023, Bivol announced that she had separated from the boxer after more than 15 years of marriage. During their marriage, they raised two sons.
The fight for the absolute light heavyweight world title between Bivol and Beterbiev was scheduled for June 1, but was postponed due to Beterbiev’s injury. The fight is scheduled to take place on October 12 in Riyadh. In July, Beterbiev said he had not yet signed a contract, but that there was an agreement in principle to hold a meeting.

Undefeated, Bivol has won 23 times in the professional ring, Beterbiev has 20 wins in 20 fights.
