Algerian Iman Khelif and Lin Yuting of the Taiwan team have been cleared by the IOC to compete in women’s boxing at the 2024 Olympic Games. These athletes were disqualified from the 2023 World Cup in New Delhi (India) after failing gender tests. At the world championship, Khelif was excluded from the competition and Lin Yuting was deprived of bronze. According to the results of the gender tests, it was proven that they have XY chromosomes, which could prove that they are male.

It is worth noting that on the eve of August 6, Iman Khelif reached the final of the Olympic boxing tournament at the 2024 Games in Paris (France) in the weight category up to 66 kg. Lin Yuting will participate in the semifinals of the 2024 Olympic Games on August 7 in the weight category up to 57 kg.
It is worth noting that Azalia Amineva lost to Iman Khelif in the 1/8 finals of the 2023 World Cup.
