I am thankful that my coach is a father. We live with him, 24 hours a day at competitions, at training camps, and constantly spend time together. He gives me instructions on how best to execute this fight, what combinations will work better against one or the other opponent. I want to thank my father for the fact that this whole path, from battle to battle, from attack to counterattack, we worked hard and analyzed every second with him.
When I stood on the podium and played the anthem, I remembered this whole journey: all the training, all the work, my life. When I woke up, I fell asleep. Just thoughts: Olympic gold. And when the flag of Ukraine was raised… I love my country, I love everything in my country: land, water, air. Wherever I travel in any country, I always fall in love with Ukraine, it’s the best. And when the flag of Ukraine was raised, I thanked God that at the highest competition the flag was raised, the anthem was played, and many people sang it. It meant so much to me, and it was hard to hold back the tears. I felt it in every cell of my body, these emotions went through me.
Of course, these competitions are very important and important. And this victory is important, because of the conditions in which we prepared, how difficult it is. These are special competitions for me, there is a huge amount of work, stress, and the existing conditions in our country. I am very grateful to our military, which is an example for me at the cost of their own lives they protect peace and tranquility in our country.
