The WBC, WBO, WBA and IBO heavyweight champion wants to thank the British boxer for his title fight.
Alexander Usyk is not against a trilogy with Anthony Joshua. The WBC, WBO, WBA and IBO heavyweight champion announced his readiness to hold a third fight against the British boxer.
However, this will only happen if the next fight with Tyson Fury ends successfully.
“I don’t really want any rematches, but when we beat Fury for the second time and when Anthony Joshua beats Daniel Dubois, of course they want a third fight.
In my view, I have no right to deny Anthony a third fight because he gave me two incredible fights. Joshua helped me become more famous in the world. Anthony did it. And if it happens with God’s help, I’m ready for the third fight with Anthony,” Usyk told Mail Sport Boxing.
Let’s remember that Usyk defeated Joshua twice by decision.
The Ukrainian has a rematch with Fury scheduled for December 21. In turn, Joshua will fight Dubois on September 21.
Earlier, Fury’s offender named the winner of Tyson’s rematch with Usyk.
