Russian fighter Oleg Popov told that the PFL Grand Prix heavyweight final, the winner of which will receive $1 million, could take place in late November.
Popov and another Russian reached the Grand Prix final Denis Goltsov who beat England’s Linton Vassell and America’s Timothy Johnson in the semi-finals respectively.
— Do you know when your fight with Denis Goltsov might take place?
— Maybe it will be November 29 in Saudi Arabia. But I don’t know yet if this date has been confirmed or not. Provisionally, they are calling it. But I always find out everything at the last moment.
— Have you ever met?
— I knew him in absentia. And he’s probably me too. But usually we only communicated when we crossed paths at the same tournament.
— When you realized that you would face each other in the Grand Prix final, did you discuss it in any way after your semi-final victories?
