Carl Froch reacts to the news about the possibility of a third fight between the boxers.

There is no need for a third fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua, because the result will be the same. This is what former super middleweight world champion Carl Froch said.

According to the British ex-boxer, his compatriot should concentrate more on the upcoming fight with Daniel Dubois.

“I wouldn’t really want to see a third fight because Usyk has beaten him convincingly twice. AJ has his next fight against Daniel Dubois and he’s the favorite to win. I think that experience will help him a lot against Daniel, but if Dubois for Anthony, he will have a good chance.

Usyk would beat AJ in the third match, he beat him twice, so he won the third time. I have nothing against AJ, Usyk is just awesome and he is so cool in the ring that I just can’t imagine him losing.

AJ can’t beat Usyk, he can’t beat him, it’s impossible unless he picks up a bat,” said Froch of SecondsOut Boxing News.

Let’s remember that Usyk defeated Joshua twice by decision: once in 2021, and the second in 2022.

Earlier, Usik announced his willingness to fight a third fight with Joshua.
