The former world champion really hopes to meet his compatriot in the very near future.
Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury may meet in the ring in 2025. At least that’s exactly what Joshua is hoping for.
According to AJ, he needs to defeat IBF belt holder Daniel Dubois first, and Fury needs to have a rematch with WBC, WBA and WBO champion Alexander Usik, after that we can talk about the fight between them next time year.
“Our fight has to happen. It’s going to take a long time, but it has to happen. In all of that, Fury has something to do, and so do I. Let’s both do our jobs first, and then look positively to 2025. I I am more than confident in him, because I know that those who listen to me want to make things happen well.
So, potentially, we will see Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury in the ring in collaboration at the Riyadh Season in London. But first, the spotlight is on Daniel Dubois. He is our main goal. Let’s see what happens next,” Joshua told Queensberry Promotions.
Let’s remember that Joshua previously named his favorite in the rematch between Usik and Fury.
