Carl Froch believes the British boxer should retire from professional boxing if he loses to the Ukrainian.
Tyson Fury is due to retire after his second fight with Oleksandr Usyk. Former lightweight world champion Carl Froch thinks so.
In his opinion, the British boxer will make this decision on his own, because he will earn enough money and not risk his health, but retire from sports.
“If Fury comes back and makes another $50 million or whatever crazy amount they paid him in Saudi Arabia and he gets beat up again, then why would he fight again? He won’t need the money. He won’t needs to take blows to the head. He needs to pass the time.” with his family and quit boxing. I think that’s what he’ll do.
If he loses to Usyk, that will be the last time we see Tyson. He had an incredible career and did boxing a great service, but he was beaten twice by top heavyweights. If Usyk does his job, and I think he will, Fury should go,” Froch said on his channel.
We remind you that the Usyk-Fury rematch is scheduled for December 21 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.
Earlier, Usik spoke about what he expects from a rematch from Fury.
