A former rival of the British boxer has suggested how a repeated fight between the rivals could turn out.
Otto Wallin no longer considers Tyson Fury the undisputed favorite for the fight with Oleksandr Usyk, as was the case before the first boxing match.
Now the famous Swedish heavyweight does not see a clear favorite in the confrontation between the holder of the WBC, WBA and WBO titles and the former champion.
According to Fury’s former opponent, it will be difficult for him to name a winner as the fight should again be close.
“I thought it was a great fight, there was a lot of swing in it. It was a close fight. I think Tyson was winning until he was too stunned. The fight was close at first, but then I thought that Fury started Then Usyk came back, he was stunned and performed well.
I believe the rematch could go either way. Now the two men know each other better. Let’s see who can make adjustments. It’s still hard to pick a winner. The first match is close, and I believe the rematch will be the same,” Wallin told Through The Ropes.
We remind you that the rematch between Usik and Fury is scheduled for December 21 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.
Earlier, Fury’s promoter called the first fight with Usik the turning point.
