Athletistic / Boxing. International Boxing Association (IBA) President Umar Kremlev said that doctors were able to restore vision in the damaged eye of Russian European boxing champion Dmitry Dvali. Earlier, the 23-year-old boxer underwent a second eye operation.
“We are waiting for Dvali’s eye to start waking up a little, so that he can start seeing,” Kremlev was quoted as saying by TASS.
Dmitry Dvali was beaten by a crowd in Feodosia on July 28. Later it became known that all those who attacked the Russian boxer were arrested. Dvali was seriously injured, which could end his sports career. The Investigative Committee of Russia (IC RF) opened a criminal case under the article “Attempted Murder”.
