Former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov closed a tax debt of 302 million rubles, the Mash Telegram channel reports.
Earlier, the press service of the Federal Tax Service of Russia informed that Nurmagomedov had a debt related to non-payment of taxes. Later, information appeared that the FSSP could recover 79 million rubles from the athlete.
It is worth noting that on August 6, Nurmagomedov’s property was seized by bailiffs. The accounts of the Eagle FC promotion associated with Nurmagomedov and the athlete’s charitable foundation were also blocked.
Nurmagomedov retired in the fall of 2020 after defeating American Justin Gaethje at UFC 254. Khabib has fought a total of 29 fights without suffering a single defeat.
