Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority chairman Turki Al al-Sheikh has confirmed that the rematch between Ukrainian boxer Alexander Usik and Britain’s Tyson Fury will take place on December 21.
On May 18, Usik defeated Fury by split decision to become the first outright heavyweight world champion of the 21st century.
“Usik vs Fury 2. Rematch 21/12/2024,” Al ash-Sheikh wrote on social media.
Usik has won 22 of 22 fights in his professional boxing career. Fury has 34 wins, one loss and one of his fights ended in a draw.
