Zhilei vs. Bakole fight could take place in China in December

In early August, Bakole defeated Jared Anderson

Champion belt holder WBO International Martin Bakole (21-1, 16 KOs) may fight Chinese heavyweight in December Zhang Zhilei (27-2-1, 22 KO).

The fight may take place in China as part of the Riyadh Season Card.

Bakole has previously stated that he would like to fight someone in the top 10, including Zhang Zhilei.

Let us recall that on the night of August 4 in Los Angeles, Bacolet (21-1, 16 KO) won an early victory over Jared Anderson, inflicting the first defeat in the American’s professional career. Thanks to this success, Martin rose to the top 10 in the heavyweight category according to the authoritative magazine The Ring.

Zhilei has stated that he wants to have a rematch against Joseph Parker, to whom he lost in the spring of 2024, in his next fight.

In his last fight in early June, Zhilei defeated former world champion Deontay Wilder. The Chinese sent the American to the canvas in the fifth round, after which the referee recorded a technical knockout.
