2025 Men’s World Boxing Championship to be held in Kazakhstan

The 2025 Men’s World Boxing Championship will be held in Astana, Kazakhstan, according to the official website of the International Boxing Association (IBA).

In March, it was announced that the Women’s World Championships would be held in Belgrade, Serbia.

It is noteworthy that initially the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation submitted an application to host the Women’s World Championship, but later proposed to host a men’s tournament.

“The choice of host countries reflects our desire to expand the sphere of influence of boxing around the world. Both countries have rich boxing traditions and are well prepared to host world-class competitions and demonstrate impressive sporting achievements. “We look forward to seeing the best athletes from around the world compete in these prestigious IBA tournaments,” said IBA President Umar Kremlev.
