The famous promoter believes that no one can compare to the absolute Japanese world champion.
Naoya Inoue has been the best boxer in the world for the past 60 years. Well-known American promoter Bob Arum thinks so.
The functionary chose the absolute world champion at the second lightest weight, saying that the Japanese do incredible things in the ring.
“Not only is he the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world, Inoue is the best boxer I’ve seen in the last 60 years.
I am afraid of what I see. He really beats great opponents. I’ve never seen a fighter his size perform like him. Inoue gets in the ring, boxes and knocks out all these guys. What we see in Inoue is something truly special. No ifs, ands or buts here. We are honored to play a role in his career,” Arum was quoted as saying by SecondsOut Boxing News.
We remind you that Oscar De La Hoya used to name the best boxer he had ever seen.
