Australian boxer of Russian origin Nikita Tszyu beat his compatriot Cohen Mazoudier in the main event of the Sydney tournament.
The junior middleweight bout lasted nine rounds and ended with Tszyu, 26, winning by technical knockout, the referee stopped the fight; Nikita became the WBO Intercontinental and IBF Australasian champion.
During his professional boxing career, Tszyu has won 10 victories (7 by KO) in 10 fights. The athlete is the son of the former absolute world junior welterweight champion Konstantin Tszyu.
Mazoudier, 28, has 12 wins, four losses and one draw.
