Ulanbekov told how Abubakar Nurmagomedov saved a man in Makhachkala

UFC fighter Tagir Ulanbekov told he was the first cousin of former World Heavyweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov Aboubakar Nurmagomedov saved a woman in the Caspian Sea.

Earlier, Ulanbekov published a post on his social networks, in which he said that 34-year-old Abubakar Nurmagomedov, who was released from the UFC earlier this year, saved a drowning woman in Makhachkala. According to the fighter, Nurmagomedov Jr. entered the water and helped the girl disembark in a place not intended for swimming.

— You wrote in your message that Abubakar didn’t really want people to know. How did you know that?

— I am in America now, he is in Dagestan. We call each other almost every day, and on the weekend, when we remembered, I saw for the first time that he had scratches on his hand. I asked what the scratches were, and he said that a man was drowning, that it seemed that there were people around, but apparently no one wanted to go in, so he decided to go into the water and help. And there, the shore is rocky, he helped to get out – and he hit the rocks.

We are now in the swimming season, and when it is summer, there are many opportunities. People enter the water, the wind and the waves begin. And they overestimate themselves, apparently they go too far, but the water does not take into account your physical strength, your ability to swim or not.

— Was the woman drowning or was she unable to get out?

“There’s such a rocky place there, and by the time he got close to her, she was already exhausted and couldn’t get out by herself because of those rocks.”

— Have you had any communications with this woman or her relatives?

— As I understand it, she was with another girl. And they just said thank you right away, and he left. It was already evening, dusk. From what I understand, they didn’t even recognize him.

— What is Abubakar doing after leaving the UFC?

— He trains, keeps himself in shape, every day in the gym. Maybe we will see him in the cage again soon. But there are no specific negotiations, he trains just for himself… And it turns out that he saves people. We recently talked to him; he was in the store doing his shopping. He says: “I will finish now and go to patrol the pier,” Ulanbekov told .
