WBO orders Fundora to defend titles against Crawford

The organization gave the boxers 30 days to agree on the fight.

WBO obliged the world champion according to version WBO And WBC in the first middleweight Sebastian Fundor defend titles against WBA junior middleweight champion Terence Crawford.

Fundora will next fight in October against Errol Spence. Sebastian won his last fight against Australian Tim Tszyu by split decision. Fundora had originally planned to have a rematch with Tszyu before facing other opponents.

In August, Terence took the WBA light middleweight title from Israil Madrimov and became champion in the fourth weight category. Previously, the 36-year-old American held championship belts in the welterweight, light welterweight and lightweight divisions.

Terence Crawford previously held the WBO welterweight belt but relinquished it, leaving Brian Norman as interim champion.

WBO International welterweight champion Vergil Ortiz, who defeated Ukrainian Serhiy Bogachuk and became the interim WBC light middleweight champion, also expressed a desire to fight Crawford.
