Bronze medalist at the 2020 Olympic Games and the 2023 World Championships, three-time Russian boxing champion Imam Khataev defeated Argentina’s Ezequiel Maderna to defend his NABF light heavyweight belt.
The ranking fight took place in Montreal (Canada) and ended with Khataev’s early victory by technical knockout – in the seventh round the referee stopped the fight and recorded the victory of the Russian.
Khataev now has eight first-time professional ring victories in eight fights.
