Joyce: Usyk knows exactly what to do. He’s three or four steps ahead of Joshua.

The second fight between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20 in Saudi Arabia

British heavyweight boxer Joe Joyce (13-0, 12 KOs) commented on the upcoming rematch between the WBA, WBO and IBF champion Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) and Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs).

“[Усик] already knew what to do in the first fight, he immediately set to work. So in this fight he had already defeated him. He knows exactly what to do again. He’s probably three or four steps ahead of him. So Joshua will be hard.”

Joyce has previously said he wants to take revenge on Usyk for his loss in the semi-professional World Series of Boxing (WSB) in 2013.

Recall that the winner of the fight between Joyce and ex-world champion New Zealander Joseph Parker will become the main contender for the duel with the victor of the second fight between Usyk and Briton Anthony Joshua. The Joyce-Parker fight will take place on September 24.

The second fight between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20 in Saudi Arabia.

In Ukraine, the broadcast of the Usyk-Joshua rematch will be hosted by the MEGOGO media service. Usyk personally acquired the right to broadcast his fight with Joshua in order to transfer them to Ukrainian broadcasters for free.

Last fall, Usyk defeated Joshua by unanimous decision to become world heavyweight champion for the first time.
