Athletistic/ Boxing. American boxer Sean Porter has explained what tactics Kazakh boxer Gennady Golovkin should choose in his third fight against Mexican Saul “Canelo” Alvarez.

“Golovkin is older. I doubt he moves the same as before. This makes his chances of beating Canelo unlikely. I think it will be the same game as before, but now he has to act smart and choose the directions for the attacks. Will that lead to a knockout? Maybe,” Porter said.

Gennady Golovkin and Saul Alvarez met twice in their career: on September 16, 2017, a draw was recorded between the boxers, and on September 15, 2018, Canelo defeated Golovkin by majority decision. The third fight between the boxers will take place on September 17, 2022. Golovkin’s statistics in professional boxing are 42 wins, 1 loss, 1 draw. Alvarez has 57 wins, 2 losses and 2 draws.
