The Ukrainian boxer spoke about the prospects for a fight with the absolute champion of the world in the second middle division.

Oleksandr Usyk can meet in the ring with the absolute world champion in the second middle division Saul Alvarez.

In any case, the holder of the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight titles does not rule out such a possibility. According to the Ukrainian boxer, he is ready to consider such an opportunity in the future, but everything depends on financial conditions.

“To fight Saul Alvarez, I have to lose 12 kilos. It’s a freak fight.

First of all, I have to do what I have in mind at the weigh-in, and then maybe we can arrange such a fight. But a potential fight with Canelo means a lot of money, so I don’t rule out the possibility of this fight,” Usyk said in an interview with Parimatch.

It can be remembered that the rematch between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20 in Saudi Arabia. The match will take place at the Super Dome in Jeddah.

In the first match, which took place in September 2021, the Ukrainian defeated the Briton by unanimous decision, winning the championship belt.

In the past, Usyk has demonstrated the training of powerful blows intended for the Briton.
