The coach believes that Daniel should prepare effectively for any opponent
IBF World Heavyweight Champion Trainer Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) Don Charles believes that a possible second fight against the ex-world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) will be no less difficult for his ward than the first fight.
“Look, if this rematch does happen, I can tell you that arrogance is a disease that I do not suffer from. Obviously, this is a serious test. Anthony Joshua is a dangerous fighter.”
“We cannot be complacent, because a wounded animal is even more dangerous. So if there is a rematch, we have to take it seriously and pretend that this is only the first round of their confrontation.”

Dubois defeated Joshua in a fight that took place in London on Saturday, September 21. Daniel knocked down AJ three times and knocked out his opponent in the fifth round. Dubois defended the IBF title, which he received after Oleksandr Usyk abandoned it.
The Joshua-Dubois fight set a new record for the largest number of spectators in the 21st century for a boxing match. The boxing evening at Wembley Stadium in London was attended by 98,128 people.
AJ’s promoter Eddie Hearn said that the fight contract included a rematch option. However, Bob Arum denied this statement, calling it “fiction.”
