Russian mixed style fighter Alexander Emelianenko in his telegram channel announced that he was ready to discuss his cooperation with the promotion of the former UFC lightweight champion Khabiba Nurmagomedova – Eagle FC
Earlier, Nurmagomedov said that he respects Emelianenko, but for fights in his promotion, Alexander needs to get his health in order.
– It’s a good idea to participate in the Eagle Fighting Championship. We will come back to this issue after September 24,” Emelianenko wrote.
Emelianenko, 41, has 28 wins, nine losses and a draw in MMA. The heavyweight fighter last fought under MMA rules in November 2021 when he then lost to middleweight Marcio Santos of Brazil. The Russian’s last MMA win was in July 2018. Emelianenko’s immediate plans include a boxing fight with Vyacheslav Datsik. The fight is scheduled for September 24.
