Current UFC Bantamweight Champion Merab Dvalishvili declared that he would defeat the Russian without any problem Umara Nurmagomedov if he gets the chance.
On September 14, Dvalishvili won the UFC bantamweight championship belt by defeating American Sean O’Malley by decision at UFC 306. The Georgian’s next opponent will likely be Nurmagomedov, who ranks second in the division standings. According to manager Ali Abdelaziz, there is already an agreement on the fight between Nurmagomedov and Dvalishvili.
“I spanked Petr Yan, I shook Henry Cejudo like a baby, but I will just crush Umar if the UFC makes him my next opponent,” Dvalishvili wrote on social media.
During his MMA career, Dvalishvili won 18 times and suffered four defeats; Nurmagomedov has 18 victories in 18 fights.
