Brazilian ASA fighter Davi Ramos told that Arman Tsarukyan won’t be a problem for the UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev in a potential revenge.
On Sunday, Khabib Nurmagomedov announced that Makhachev would have his next fight in January. Makhachev defended his championship belt for the third time in June by defeating American Dustin Poirier. The 32-year-old Russian has 26 victories and one defeat in mixed martial arts. Tsarukyan (22-3) is ranked number one in the lightweight division. In April 2019, at the UFC tournament in St. Petersburg, Makhachev defeated Tsarukyan by unanimous decision. During his UFC career, Ramos faced Makhachev and Tsarukyan, losing both times.
“If this rematch is organized, then I don’t think Tsarukyan will be able to create problems for Makhachev. I don’t see any preconditions for that,” Davi Ramos told .
Ramos, who competes in the lightweight category, will meet Russian Mukhamed Kokov on October 4 in Grozny at the ACA 170 tournament. The ACA tournament will be broadcast live on Friday on the channel, the broadcast will begin at 9:30 p.m. (Moscow time ).
