The Croatian heavyweight prospect shares his view on the boxers’ rematch in Saudi Arabia.

Croatian heavyweight prospect Filip Hrgovic shares his opinion on WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Alexander Usik’s rematch against Anthony Joshua.

According to Hrgovic, the Briton will show himself better than in the first match, but he will still lose to Usyk.

“Joshua will do a lot better. In the last fight he didn’t fight very much – he just didn’t start giving freedom to his hands. I think he will do better, but, of course, Usyk will do better , because Alexander had already defeated him. And he was fighting not only for himself, but for his whole country.

It will be a great fight. Usyk has an advantage because he has already beaten him. But you can’t discount Joshua. He’s a big and dangerous guy,” Hrgovic said in an interview on Boxing Social’s YouTube channel.

It can be remembered that the rematch between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20 in Saudi Arabia. The match will take place at the Super Dome in Jeddah.

In the first match, which took place in September 2021, the Ukrainian defeated the Briton by unanimous decision, winning the championship belt.

Earlier, the Ukrainian boxer named his strongest opponent.
