The WBO has given Crawford and Fundora an additional ten days to agree on the fight.

If the teams of boxers do not find a common language, then promotional bidding will be announced

World Boxing Organization (WBO) granted the world champion according to WBO and WBC junior middleweight Sebastian Fundore and holder of the WBA title and WBO interim belt Terence Crawford additional 10 days to coordinate the fight.

At the end of August, the WBO ordered Fundora to defend his title against Crawford, giving the boxers’ representatives 30 days to conclude a deal. Now the parties have received additional time to sign the contract. If the teams of boxers do not find a common language, then promotional bidding will be announced.

In his last fight, Fundora defeated Australian Tim Tszyu by split decision. Initially, Sebastian planned to rematch Tszyu before facing other opponents.

In August, Crawford took the WBA title from Israil Madrimov and won the vacant interim WBO junior middleweight belt. Terence became a champion in the fourth weight category. Previously, the 37-year-old American held championship belts in the welterweight, junior welterweight and lightweight divisions.
