From October 3 to 12, the Russian Men’s Boxing Championship will be held in Irkutsk with the support of the general partner of the Liga Stavok bookmaker. The Russian Boxing Federation is constantly expanding the geography of major tournaments, covering both the capital and the central regions of the country. So, in recent years the tournament has been held in Orenburg, Kemerovo, Chita and Khabarovsk, and for the first time the 33rd Russian Championship will be hosted in Irkutsk.
More than 400 athletes from more than 70 regions of the country will travel to the Angara region. The opening of the Russian Championship will take place on October 3 at 5:30 p.m. The preliminary matches will take place from October 3 to 9. Semi-finals – October 10. The finale and award ceremony for winners and finalists is scheduled for October 11-12.
This year, the prize fund for the Russian Championship will amount to 26 million rubles. The winners will receive 1.5 million, silver medalists – 250 thousand, bronze medalists – 125 thousand rubles.
