The former absolute world champion does not believe that the Ukrainian boxer can resist the onslaught of the main “Iron Mike”.
Alexander Usik will not stand a chance in the fight against the chief Mike Tyson of 1986. This is what former legendary boxer Lennox Lewis said.
According to the Briton, he appreciates the boxing skills of the Ukrainian, but does not believe that he can withstand the furious pressure of “Iron Mike”.
“I have a lot of respect for Usyk’s abilities. He has proven that he can outbox the best heavyweights of our time.
But a prime-level Tyson? This is another level. Tyson was great in his prime. You can’t outbox him, you have to survive under his pressure, and few have been able to do that.
If anyone can upset Tyson and dodge hard punches, it’s Usyk. But it won’t be easy,” Lewis was quoted as saying by the Daily News Reel.
Let’s remember that Hasim Rahman earlier predicted the impending end of careers for Usyk, Fury and Joshua.
