Ukrainian is ready to go to Saudi Arabia for a rematch
Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk completed a training camp in the UAE. The athlete posted on social networks a photo with people who helped him prepare for a rematch with Anthony Joshua.
“The main stage of preparation has been completed. See you in Jeddah on August 20!” Usyk wrote.
Earlier, former world welterweight champion Amir Khan spoke about the preparation of the Ukrainian for the fight with Joshua. Khan noted that Usyk became 15 kg heavier, but this does not affect the speed of his actions.
In Ukraine, the broadcast of the Usyk-Joshua rematch will be hosted by the MEGOGO media service. The broadcast will be free for viewers in Ukraine. The screening will also be available on the regional channels of “Suspilny” and on Usyk’s YouTube channel – Usyk17.
The second fight between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20 in Saudi Arabia. Last fall, the Ukrainian defeated Anthony by unanimous decision and became the world heavyweight champion for the first time.
