Russian boxer Dmitri Bivol on the eve of a fight with a compatriot Artur Beterbiev said he had no problem sleeping before big fights.
The fight for the title of absolute light heavyweight world champion between undefeated Russians will take place on October 12 in Riyadh. Bivol has 23 victories and holds the IBO and WBA light heavyweight belts. Beterbiev has 20 debut victories and holds the IBF, WBO and WBC belts.
– Am I too relaxed? I’m still like that, but I’m still focused. The upcoming fight means a lot, but I try to distract myself from what is happening. I thank a lot of people, but I am focused on the fight on Saturday. Now I have to eat and sleep, then get ready. Can I sleep before such fights? Honestly, I’m already used to it. I have been boxing since the age of six and I sleep before fights,” reports a correspondent, reports Bivol.
