The Russian Boxing Federation terminated the license of the Hardcore Fighting Championship league for gross and systematic violations of the rules, the organization’s press service reports.
In July, the federation had already suspended the license of the Hardcore league after a scandal linked to the statements of the Azerbaijani mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Javid Rzayev against the Russian Artur Kulinsky. Then the promotion received a warning that repeated violations could result in the loss of its license.
— The Department of Fist Fighting and the Department of Professional Boxing, by their decisions, terminated the licenses of the promoters of Human Rights Media LLC (discipline “fist fighting” of the sport “boxing”) and LLC “Boxing Entertainment” (discipline “professional boxing” of the sport “boxing”), which are directly related to hardcore fighting (Hardcore FC) and hardcore boxing.
The reason for these sanctions was their gross and systematic violations of the rules of the sport of boxing and the regulations relating to the interaction of subjects of fist fighting, to the interaction of subjects of professional fighting.
Both organizations violated mandatory rules and regulations, including:
– did not submit an agreement between the promoter and the fighters, an agreement on the fight;
— did not provide a list of professional sports competitions;
— the procedure for compensating expenses linked to payment for the services of the supervisor’s refereeing teams.
In addition, videos of street fights and insults between participants of the competition were published on the Internet,” the statement said.
