The second fight between Anthony and Alexander will take place in a week
WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) vacated The Ring magazine belt.
So this title could be on the line in a rematch between the WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion of the world. Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua.
The second fight between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20 in Saudi Arabia. Last fall, the Ukrainian defeated Anthony by unanimous decision and became the world heavyweight champion for the first time.
Yesterday, Tyson Fury thanked everyone who was with him throughout his professional career as a boxer and announced the termination of performances in the ring.
Fury has previously announced his retirement from professional football following a convincing win over Dillian Whyte in April. At the same time, the Briton has not yet vacated the WBC championship belt.
Fury’s representatives were reportedly in talks with Derek Chisora to hold another face-to-face confrontation in December 2022. Tyson personally demanded that Derek agree to a duel.
Fury also intended to wait for a rematch between Alexander Usik and Anthony Joshua, after which Tyson planned to fight the winner of the confrontation.
