Double Olympic champion Abdulrashid Sadulaev will meet American David Taylor in a qualifying fight in the weight category up to 92 kg at the World Championships to be held in Tirana.
The draw for the tournament took place on Sunday. As the head of the press service of the Russian Wrestling Federation (FSBR) Tigran Avanyan reports on the Telegram channel, the draw took place twice. In the first procedure, due to a technical error, the 2023 World Cup ranking points were not taken into account, so the seeded wrestlers did not receive their earned position in the parentheses.
The World Championships in non-Olympic weight categories will be held in Tirana from October 28 to 31.
Taylor is the 2020 Olympic champion at 86 kg.
