The British ex-champion explained why he wanted to meet his compatriot in the ring.

Former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has spoken about a potential fight with another former division titleholder, Anthony Joshua.

According to the British boxer, he does not look at the failures of a possible opponent and believes that his fight with his countryman will be a big event in any case.

“I’ve said many times that after every loss to Anthony Joshua, I feel sad. When a potential opponent loses through no fault of yours, you feel depressed.

I’m still ready to meet him. I don’t care how many times he lost, five, ten or twenty times. It’s just that, at this stage of our career, it’s very important to have good matches. I think it’s an exciting fight for the person buying the broadcast anyway,” Fury was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.

Earlier, Joshua’s promoter named two potential opponents for the next fight.
