Russians Valeria Dondupova and Svetlana Lipatova lost the fight for bronze at the World Wrestling Championships in non-Olympic weight categories, which takes place in Tirana.
Dondupova, competing in the 65 kg category, lost to American Macey Kilty with a score of 5:16. Lipatova (up to 59 kg) was defeated by German Elena Heike Brugger – 3:6. The second bronze medal in this weight category was won by Indian Mansi Mansi. In the final, the Japanese Risako Kinjo beat the Mongolian Tserenchimed Sukhee.
The World Championship will end on October 31, the Russians will compete in neutral status.
