Russian freestyle wrestler Magomed Magomaev lost to Georgian Avtandil Kenchadze in the final fight of the World Championships in non-Olympic weight categories, which takes place in Tirana.
Magomaev, competing in the 79 kg category, was defeated by Kenchadze with a score of 4:13 and won silver. The bronze medalists of the competition were the Iranian Mohammad Nohodilarimi and the representative of Slovakia Akhsarbek Gulaev.
Magomayev is 24 years old. He is a double world champion among athletes under 23. He also won gold medals in the BRICS Games and CIS Games.
The World Championships in non-Olympic weight categories will end on October 31, the Russians will compete in neutral status.
