Russian wrestlers won five medals at the tournament in Albania. Freestyle wrestling representatives won three prizes. Abdulrashid Sadulayev, a two-time Olympic champion, won gold in the weight category up to 92 kg and became a six-time world champion. Magomed Magomayev became a silver medalist (up to 79 kg), Inalbek Sheriev – bronze (up to 70 kg).
