Absolute world champion in second bantamweight Naoi Inoue (28-0, 25 KO) signed a sponsorship contract with Riyadh Season. This was announced by the Chairman of the Saudi Arabian General Entertainment Authority. Turks Al ash-Sheikh.
The parties do not disclose the terms of the deal. The Japanese is expected to earn $19.7 million under the contract.
Inoue will fight next on December 24 in Tokyo at the Ariake Arena. The opponent of the absolute world champion will be Australian Sam Goodman.
In his last fight, Inoue defeated a representative of the top 5 of the WBA rating, 37-year-old TJ Doheny, a former IBF world champion. The fight ended in the seventh round with a technical victory for Inoue. TJ refused to continue the fight due to a back injury.
