The expert believes that the fate of the battle depends on the Briton.
Former world champion Paul Malignaggi says Tyson Fury can beat WBA, WBO and WBC heavyweight title holder Oleksandr Usyk.
According to the expert, the Briton will be stronger than the Ukrainian if he does not lose motivation.
“If Fury can find that hunger that we saw in him… I just don’t know if he has it. I can’t read minds. For example, the old Fury, after losing the first fight, would be obsessed with win a rematch, he will do everything possible, and for me, Fury will be mentally focused and ready to make this fight a war.
I don’t know if Fury is still like that. I’m not sure about that. Maybe. And if that’s the case, then I think he can win the rematch,” Malignaggi said in an interview with the Boxing Social YouTube channel.
We remind you that the rematch between Usik and Fury will take place on December 21 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.
Earlier, Lennox Lewis called out Fury’s mistake in the fight with Usik.
