The Russian Squash Federation and the Russian Muay Thai Federation have become members of the country’s Olympic Committee, the ROC information service reports.
The decision was made on Thursday, November 7, during a meeting of the ROC executive committee.
In October 2023, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) included squash on the program for the 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Muay Thai was featured as a demonstration sport. The International Federation of Muaythai Associations (IFMA) has been a member of the IOC since 2021.
