UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones has turned his attention to Russian fighter Magomed Ankalaev.
Earlier, Jones said he was not going to fight with interim title holder, Briton Tom Aspinall. Ankalaev, commenting on the American’s statement, wrote on social networks that “someone is afraid of big Tom.”
– Magomed, my friend, envy will not bring you legendary status. More training and less hatred. Do you really want to insult me? First, beat a few of my records. Let’s get started,” Jones wrote on social media.
Jones has 27 MMA victories and has one defeat. Ankalaev has 19 victories and one defeat, he also tied a fight and one of his fights was declared invalid.
